Naked raindrops
Fall from my skin
Cold, hard pebbles

Sheets of silk
Roll over curves
Truant, playful shimmers.

Loud static
Buzzes from my ears
A slow, irregular patter.

The heat rises
And strains towards the sky,
Only to be quenched
With a roaring sizzle,
A shivering splash.

In the stillness
A single seed falls

Its ripples spread out
Lapping at the bottom of the well

Oh cold wind, that shakes
the forest of my agitated heart

If we can live and let live,
Let's go on as we are

Everyone who heard the quiet voice
of this forest wept for the noise

3 25 15 21 23 1

The sound clamours within this forest
Incessantly, yet quietly

It gives moments of tranquillity
back to my troubled heart.
